The included US standard plug is only suitable for the US, Canada, and Mexico. As this aquarium pump is submersible, it must be fully submerged in water before powering on to avoid burning out. Prohibit no-load running, as it would shorten the lifespan and lead to loud noises when running in the air for a long time. When changing water, please disconnect the power supply.

If the water pump is stuck by debris like mud, garbage, or sea salt, it needs to be cleaned with clean water before use. The operating temperature range is 40-95°F. Due to professional water testing by the manufacturer before shipment, the water pump may have a small amount of residual water, which is a normal phenomenon and not a cause for concern.

The inner shaft will have a small amount of lubricant to ensure the motor is working well. If you are raising sensitive fish or aquatic plants, please use the pump in other tanks for a short time before moving it into the fish tank.

If the product suddenly stops working or makes noises, it may be caused by debris blockage. Please clean it regularly or add some olive oil to the rotor.

To troubleshoot issues: - The pump is dead: Check the power source and plug; check if there is still water; refer to the installation manual and safety instructions. - The pump is noisy: Detach and clean the pump. - The pump is working but the flow is insufficient: Check if the control valve has been adjusted; check if the impeller is damaged; check if the pipe/strainer is stuck; check if the electricity is stable.

To clean and maintain the pump: - Unplug and pull out the control valve to clean the outlet. - Remove the basefoot, loosen the screws, and take off the base strainer. Pull out the impeller, clean it, and reinstall it.
